In rolls manufactured from first bent and then welded sheets of steel, the asymmetric distribution mass due to weld seam as well imperfections geometry bending may cause roll cross-section roundness profiles deform centrifugal forces when is accelerated rotate at its operating speed. This effect known dynamic roll. previous research, it has been shown that possible measure in speed compensate for deformation by grinding a suitable opposite on direct approach work only little material removed.
